According to the new national standard GB 2099.7-2024, two new categories of outdoor-specific products have been added: electric bicycle extension cord charging sockets and electric vehicle discharge sockets. For these two new outdoor-specific power strips, the new national standard also emphasizes that they must have waterproof, crush-resistant, vibration-resistant, and overcharge protection functions. Several new categories have been added for indoor power strips, namely furniture-mounted power strips and power strips with cord retractors.
